Creating Daily Reading Habits for the Whole Family
I’ve always loved reading. But for years, I struggled to remember what I read. By the end of each year, most books blurred together. Some, I forgot I’d opened at all.
Then I became a father, and time for reading got even tighter. That’s when I realised that I had to be more intentional with my reading. I had to make each precious minute count.
So I began applying the same reading strategies I teach my students: Taking notes, writing reflections, and slowing down to truly absorb the material. The shift was remarkable. It transformed how I learn and reshaped the way I want my children to grow up with books.
